Roses by the Lake

The symposium Roses by the Lake will be looking at the very wide ranging role the rose has played, and indeed still does play, in our culture. It will include an outstanding panel of academics, writers and practitioners covering a broad array of topics including art, fashion, law, politics, religion and perfume. This will be coupled with visits to stunning gardens in the area. It will be a fascinating event that will help you see the rose in many different ways.

The venue is northern Italy in the medieval town of Orta San Giulio on the shores of the very beautiful Lake Orta.
